Hello everyone, I’m Glenn VK4DU, the President of RASA.
The other day, I had a long discussion with ACMA about the recent Foundation Licence callsign survey and sector cooperation in general.
ACMA require a consensus view from RASA and the WIA.
So, unless the WIA and RASA can reach consensus, any changes to our licence conditions are effectively stalled.
I have written to Greg Kelly, the President of the WIA, proposing a meeting to resolve our differences and sort out a way ahead.
It is time for the politics to stop – for the good of the hobby.
