For those with 2×1 contest callsigns… it’s renewal time and AMC have advised the following:
“The renewal process will proceed as per the AMC website.
There is no review of 2×1 callsigns being undertaken.”
RENEWAL
AMC will issue a renewal notice via email four weeks prior to expiry. If the holder does not renew 2 weeks after expiry, the callsign will be released into the public pool of available callsigns. The holder will be required to complete a renewal form, which includes a list of the contests to be participated in over the next 12-month period.
Hopefully this update from AMC clarifies concerns some people have noted regarding the renewal process.
