The ACMA released a public consultation paper on proposed changes to amateur licence conditions a few weeks ago.
Public comments closed on August 9.
Some of the changes proposed are logical, and reflective of current technology, whilst others are quite radical and go to the heart of amateur radio as we know it.
We sought your views through our usual on line survey.
There were 651 responses to the survey – thanks to all who took the time to comment.
The survey responses formed the basis of our submission to ACMA.
