The way in which our MF/HF bands (160-10m) are used is changing.

Regional differences due to local regulations, geo-political considerations and varying application of certain frequencies means global harmony is not always easy.

Perhaps the biggest impact to our local band plan has been the advent and development of digital modes.  Tens of thousands of stations around the world now use FT8 on spot frequencies traditionally used for other modes in VK.

In light of these developments, the VK MF/HF band plan needs to be reviewed.

RASA invites interested amateurs and clubs to submit ideas, experiences and feedback regarding potential MF/HF band plan improvements.
