The French proposal to share 144-146 MHz with the aeronautical service was defeated at the European radio regulator’s meeting this week.
The 144-146 MHz band was removed from the list of bands to be studied for aeronautical communications.
Well-argued papers from the German Administration and the IARU proved that sharing is not technically possible.
